The Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions presented Florida Credit Union Foundation Scholarships to five scholarship recipients at local High School awards ceremonies during the month of May. The $1,500 scholarship may be used to assist with the tuition, room, board, or books at any Florida four year university or community college.
Scholarships were awarded to five students from select Hillsborough and Pasco County high schools:
• Ariana McCaffrey, Leto High School
• Kelsey Cearley, East Bay High School
• Jamie Webber, Thomas Jefferson High School
• Stephanie Bires, Pasco High School
• Marcus Graham, Dr. Earl J. Lennard High School

The Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions is made up of area credit unions whose goal is to raise credit union awareness; support its affiliated credit unions by providing educational events for employees; and contribute to community development, charitable causes, and political action that support the credit union movement.
