TAMPA CHAPTER ORGANIZES TIMELY MORTGAGE SEMINAR FOR CREDIT UNION EMPLOYEES

On January 26, Credit Union employees representing the Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions were provided an opportunity to attend a half-day training seminar which targeted key elements of HASP (Homeowners Affordability and Stability Program), HARP (Home Affordable Refinance Program), and HAMP (Home Affordable Modification Program). On Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at their annual Volunteer Appreciation Night, the Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions announced their donation of $26,500 to support Florida CUPAC. The event serves as a thank you to Credit Union volunteer Board Members and Credit Union employees who volunteer their time throughout the year holding various fundraising and community involvement events.

TAMPA CHAPTER OF CREDIT UNIONS PRESENTS OVER $40,000 IN CHECKS TO CHILDREN’S CHARITIES IN THE GREATER TAMPA BAY AREA

$20,000 RAISED FOR ALL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

On Sunday, May 31st Credit Union employees representing the Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions manned the phones for 2 hours in support of the All Children’s Hospital. Along with providing volunteers for the event, the Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions presented a check for $10,000 to All Children’s Hospital.

TAMPA CHAPTER OF CREDIT UNIONS PRESENTS FLORIDA CREDIT UNION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS

The Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions presented Florida Credit Union Foundation Scholarships to five scholarship recipients at local High School awards ceremonies during the month of May. The $1,500 scholarship may be used to assist with the tuition, room, board, or books at any Florida four year university or community college.
